Key Responsibilities- Provide expert nursing care to patients undergoing cardiac procedures, including angiography, pacemakers, and cardioversions.
- Assist cardiologists during diagnostic and investigative procedures, ensuring the highest standards of patient care and safety.
- Contribute to the effective running of the Cardiac Catheter Lab and Recovery Area, ensuring seamless patient flow and efficient use of resources.
- Develop and implement individualized education and psychological support plans for patients and their relatives, promoting optimal health outcomes and patient satisfaction.
- Collaborate with other specialties to ensure consistent management of patients, sharing knowledge and expertise to enhance patient care.
- Participate in ongoing professional development, staying up-to-date with current research and best practices in cardiology and nursing.
- At least two years of post-registration experience in a cardiac or acute care setting.
- Experience in acute cardiology is desirable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to maintain high standards of patient care, ensuring patient safety and dignity at all times.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development, with a focus on staying current with best practices in cardiology and nursing.
