Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Staff Nurse to join our Cardiac Catheter Laboratory team at University Hospitals Sussex NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the delivery of excellent clinical outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess, plan, and implement care for patients undergoing cardiac catheterisation procedures
  • Assist medical staff with diagnostic and interventional procedures, including angiograms, PCI, pacing, and EP studies
  • Participate in the control, storage, and administration of drugs and treatments as prescribed
  • Demonstrate skills in the care and management of critically ill patients
  • Maintain accurate documentation to facilitate continuity of care
  • Ensure practice is evidence-based and in line with local policies and procedures

We are looking for a qualified and experienced Staff Nurse who possesses the following skills and qualities:

  • NMC registration
  • Experience in cardiology or a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
