Job Description

We are seeking an experienced receptionist to join our team at Scunthorpe General Hospital's Endoscopy Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to patients and staff, including coordinating appointments and preparing health records.

Main Duties
  1. To receive and assist patients face-to-face and by telephone, including cross-site working and off-site reception areas.
  2. To coordinate and enter appointments, investigations, admissions, and discharges onto the hospital's system(s), ensuring all relevant information is available within agreed timescales.
  3. To prepare health records for new and follow-up attendances and admissions, ensuring all relevant documentation is available and filed according to instructions.
