Job DescriptionThe successful candidate will report to the Global Head of Data and will be responsible for running data onboarding, analysis, and quality management for large datasets being brought onto the fund's platform. They will also oversee the data pipeline, ensuring that data is transmitted accurately and efficiently to the investment team.
The ideal candidate will have 3-7 years of relevant experience in a Data Analyst/Data Operations/Data Quality focused role, preferably at a bank, buy-side, or data vendor. They must possess excellent academic credentials and coding skills, ideally in Python, but also proficient in Matlab, R, SQL, and/or VBA.
This is a business-critical hire, and the successful candidate can expect a strong increase on their current base salary and a year-one target bonus range that will make up a significant percentage of their base number. The role will initially require a 5-day office week, but there will be opportunities to work from home 1-2 days per week once established.
Key Responsibilities- Run data onboarding, analysis, and quality management for large datasets
- Oversee the data pipeline, ensuring accurate and efficient data transmission
- Work with the technology team to improve data governance processes
- Collaborate with the investment team to ensure data meets their needs
- Develop and implement data quality metrics and reporting
