Clinical Record Summarization Specialist

Lancaster Medical Practice is a large, at-scale GP provider delivering high-quality General Medical Services to around 68,000 patients in Lancaster and its surroundings.
We are looking for a skilled Child Health Records Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our administrative staff, you will be responsible for ensuring that patient records are accurate, up-to-date, and securely maintained.
Key Responsibilities:- Summary Development: Develop detailed summaries of patient medical histories, utilizing clinical records as reference.
- Correspondence Coordination: Coordinate receipt and dispatch of correspondence related to medical records, while ensuring confidentiality and adherence to practice policies.
- Amendment Management: Manage amendments to patient records, ensuring accuracy and consistency throughout.
- Record Maintenance: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, adhering to established protocols.
This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and experience working in a confidential environment. The successful candidate will have a solid understanding of Microsoft Office software and EMIS Web clinical system.
