About the Role
">An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Clinical Support Specialist to join our dynamic team at the Royal Lancaster Infirmary. We are seeking an enthusiastic, caring and motivated individual with a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.
The successful candidate will work in support of and under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN), providing nursing care and assistance to patients within defined parameters specified by the RN.
Main Responsibilities
- Provide basic patient care and document that care in the patient records.
- Work closely with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Assist with minor injury treatments and plaster casts as required.
What You Will Need
- A good general education and willingness to undertake NVQ level 2 in a care-related area.
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively and work as part of a team.
Working with Us
We operate from three main hospitals across Morecambe Bay, including Furness General Hospital, the Royal Lancaster Infirmary and Westmorland General Hospital, as well as various community healthcare premises.
The ideal candidate will have manual handling experience, preferably in a healthcare setting, and be willing to undertake training and development opportunities to enhance their skills and knowledge.
Salary and Benefits
The estimated salary for this role is £20,000 - £22,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits such as access to continued professional development and a supportive work environment.
