About the Role
At West Herts College, we are seeking highly skilled IT business analysts, architects, and systems designers to join our team. As a key member of our technology department, you will provide expert advice on the effective utilisation of IT systems to meet business objectives.
Main Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with clients to analyse business processes, identify areas for improvement, and develop solutions.
- Conduct feasibility studies for major IT projects, considering costs, benefits, and technical implications.
- Communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders and advise on emerging technologies.
- Provide guidance on the procurement, deployment, and maintenance of IT systems and infrastructure.
- Design functional specifications and test plans for new systems, ensuring alignment with business needs.
- Monitor and evaluate network performance, identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Work closely with clients to deliver successful IT projects.
Educational Background
Candidates typically hold a degree or equivalent qualification, although alternative qualifications and relevant experience may be considered. Various vocational, professional, and postgraduate qualifications are available in this field.
Salary Information: The estimated salary range for this role is £45,000 - £65,000 per annum, dependent on experience and location.
This position requires strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
