We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Nurse Leader in Paediatric Palliative Care to join our team at Wessex Children's Hospice Trust (Naomi House). As a key member of our clinical team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional care to children and young adults with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions.

Job Overview

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, where you will have the chance to develop your leadership skills and make a real difference in the lives of our patients and their families. You will be responsible for leading a team of nurses and coordinating care across both Naomi House and Jacksplace hospices.

We offer a competitive salary of £36,748 to £47,247 per annum, plus unsociable hours payments and a retention package of £5,000.

About the Role
  • Lead the provision of high-quality care and support to children, young adults, and their families.
  • Provide clinical leadership to staff across both hospices.
  • Liaise with the Clinical Team Leaders/Care Managers and other Site Coordinators.
Key Responsibilities
  1. To deliver a high standard of individualised holistic care and support to children, young people, and their families.
  2. To manage staffing and allocate resources across both hospices according to assessed acuity on each shift.
  3. To maintain an up-to-date knowledge and awareness of issues around the safeguarding of children and young adults.
