Palliative Care Professional

We are looking for an experienced nurse to join our team at Wessex Children's Hospice Trust (Naomi House), providing specialist care and support for children and young adults with life-threatening and life-limiting conditions.
The successful candidate will possess excellent clinical skills, a strong sense of compassion, and the ability to work flexibly within a dynamic environment. A background in palliative care is desirable but not essential.
Main Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality palliative care to children and young adults with complex health needs and their families.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest clinical evidence and best practices to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care, advice, and support.
- Support and supervise colleagues, promoting a culture of teamwork and knowledge-sharing.
- Maintain awareness of safety and safeguarding protocols, adhering to relevant laws and guidelines.
- Valid NMC registration as a Registered Nurse.
- Ongoing professional development to stay current with industry advancements.
- At least 1 year of post-qualification experience in palliative care.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and time management skills.
- Able to work autonomously and as part of a cohesive team.
- Familiarity with Safeguarding procedures.
£29,165 - £39,081 per annum, including unsociable hours payments and a retention package of £5,000.
