Job Title: Clinical Team Leader - Palliative Care Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and experienced senior nurse to join our team as a Clinical Team Leader in palliative care. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified paediatric or dual registered nurse with proven clinical leadership skills to make a real difference in the lives of children and young people with life-limiting conditions.

About the Role:

This role involves demonstrating excellent clinical practice, providing leadership and mentorship, and managing the needs of the children and young people. As part of the senior clinical team, you will ensure day-to-day review of skill mix and care needs to maintain high standards of care. You will also have direct line management responsibility for a team of nurses and carers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide clinical leadership and support to the care team
• Develop and implement care plans that meet the individual needs of each child or young person
• Manage the care team to ensure high standards of care are maintained
• Collaborate with other teams to develop services across both hospices and the community

Requirements:

• Qualified paediatric or dual registered nurse with proven clinical leadership skills
• Up-to-date competence in invasive and non-invasive respiratory support, IV and central line management, and end-of-life care
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Driving licence essential due to rural location
