Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Education Support Assistant to join our team at a forward-thinking Secondary School in Southwark.

About the Role

This exciting opportunity will see you provide academic and pastoral support to 11-18 year olds, working closely with supportive and friendly Secondary Teachers. As an Education Support Assistant, you will be responsible for delivering small group interventions, monitoring and tracking progress, and guiding, motivating and empowering students to achieve their full potential.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong set of GCSE and A-Level results, a true desire and passion for supporting children, and a positive mindset to make a difference in the lives of our students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide academic and pastoral support to 11-18 year olds
  • Work alongside supportive and friendly Secondary Teachers
  • Deliver small group interventions
  • Monitor and track progress
  • Guide, motivate and empower students so they are ready for post-school life
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A First-Class or 2:1 Degree from a leading UK University
  • Ideal for aspiring Secondary Teachers
  • Possess a strong set of GCSE and A-Level results
  • A true desire and passion for supporting children
  • A positive mindset and a desire to make a difference
Salary and Benefits

The salary for this role is estimated to be £25,000 - £28,000 per annum, based on a full-time position (Monday-Friday). In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits, including opportunities for professional development and growth within the education sector.
