Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Graduate SEND Support Worker to join our team in Southwark. As a key member of our team, you will provide one-to-one support to pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure effective 1:1 support to pupils
  • Foster a nurturing environment for social, emotional, and educational development
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers and SENCOs to devise and deliver person-centered learning and care
  • Monitor and record progress of children to report to the school's SEN team and meet targets

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with SEND is preferable
  • A resilient mindset and ability to face and overcome challenges
  • Compassion and patience when working with children with SEND
  • Ability to work efficiently in a team

What We Offer:

  • An estimated salary of £25,000-£28,000 per annum, depending on experience
