This is an exciting opportunity to join Protocol Education as a Long Term Education Assistant in a vibrant and dynamic college environment. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting students with special needs, helping them to develop their academic and social skills through creative approaches.

Job Description
  • Support students in class, ranging from 6-8 students per class, in developing their academic and social skills through creative approaches such as art or music.
  • Deliver one-to-one creative sessions to students with special needs, preparing them for life outside education.
  • Assist in lessons such as music, art, and P.E., and support students at local farms, work placements, and other non-educational organisations.
Responsibilities
  • Support students in achieving their educational goals, promoting independence and confidence.
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans, incorporating creative approaches to learning.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress, identifying areas for improvement and developing strategies to address these.
Salary and Benefits
  • A competitive salary of £27,000 - £32,000 per annum, depending on experience.
