We are seeking a highly skilled Marine Technical Specialist to join our Project & Offshore Operations team at Subsea7. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support to Vessel Superintendents and coordinating the planned maintenance system.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in offshore vessel marine engineering systems and experience with planned maintenance. They will also possess excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting Vessel Superintendents with emergency and planned maintenance marine/vessel-related systems
  • Analyzing ship performance and implementing technical improvements to ship maintenance systems
  • Reviewing results of condition monitoring systems and initiating changes to Planned or Condition Based Maintenance Systems
  • Contributing to the development of PMS implementation procedures
  • Planning, budgeting, performing, and commissioning/testing of ship dockings, modifications, and repairs
  • Consulting with Classification Societies and Maritime Authorities relevant to maintenance of vessel certification
  • Interfacing with OEM/equipment service engineers for team vessels
  • Consulting with external contractors when reviewing/optimizing maintenance regimes
