About the Role:

We are seeking a qualified Behaviour Mentor to join our team at a great girls secondary school in north London. The Behaviour Mentor will work closely with pupils, teachers, and other support staff to promote positive behaviour and improve academic achievement.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage and maintain positive student behaviour
  • Support pupils with their learning, focusing on behaviour, class punctuality, and attendance
  • Perform administrative tasks as required
  • Assist in the management of the school Reflection Room
Requirements and Qualifications:

A degree-level qualification or equivalent experience, ability to relate to young people in a firm but friendly and calm manner, ability to exert authority in ensuring students reach classes on time, effective communication skills, good organisational and interpersonal skills, understanding of school values and aspirations, and commitment to maintaining excellent attendance and punctuality.

Salary and Benefits:

An estimated salary of £20,000-£25,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including excellent in-school training schemes, comprehensive induction and training, great rates of pay, and a friendly working environment.
