About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Education Support Specialist to join our team in Barnet. As an Education Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) in achieving their goals.


Key Responsibilities:

  • To provide support to students in reaching their EHCP targets by working closely with teachers and other staff members.
  • To assist students in understanding and engaging with the curriculum, while promoting inclusive learning practices.
  • To offer pastoral support to students, helping them build positive relationships and self-esteem.
  • To communicate effectively with staff, parents, and carers to ensure seamless collaboration and student success.

What We Offer:

  • A competitive daily rate of £106.00, inclusive of holiday pay, paid weekly via PAYE.
  • Full training and opportunities for Continued Professional Development (CPD) to enhance your skills and knowledge.
  • An initial short-term contract lasting until July 2025, with the potential for extension or permanency based on performance.

Requirements:

  • You should be a recent graduate in Psychology or a related field, with a strong academic record at degree, A-Level, and GCSE level.
  • You must have a deep understanding of SEND and Atypical Development, with experience in supporting children with varying needs.
