We are seeking a skilled Technical Claims Advisor to join our team at AutoProtect. As a Technical Claims Advisor, you will play a crucial role in guiding Manheim Buyers through the claims process, providing accurate advice on suitable repairers and relevant liabilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide accurate claims advice across various Manheim SureCheck products.
  • Resolve claims across multiple platforms, including App, Online, telephone, and email.
  • Understand the Manheim buyers' requirements and work with them to ensure a speedy resolution.
  • Maintain company contractual service levels.
  • Provide professional and friendly service.
  • Arrange, review, and evaluate vehicle assessment reports.
  • Perform other reasonable duties as required.
Requirements:
  • Technical knowledge within the motor industry.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • A high level of literacy and numeracy.
  • Active listening skills.
  • Initiative and the ability to adapt quickly to different situations.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure, both within a team or on own initiative.
  • Good planning and organizing skills, with the ability to prioritize.
  • Ability to build effective relationships and be an excellent communicator.
Essential Knowledge and Experience:
  • Detailed understanding of motor vehicle systems, diagnosis, and repair methods.
  • Formal qualification in motor vehicle repair or equivalent experience in a motor repair workshop environment.
  • Good written and oral communication skills.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft 365, including Word and Outlook.
Preferred:
  • Experience in insurance product administration and claim resolution.
