Training Programme Director for Paediatrics Specialist
4 weeks ago
As a key member of the NHS England team, you will be responsible for coordinating the training of paediatric specialists across the region. You will ensure that national standards, determined by Royal Colleges, the GMC, and NHS-E WT&E, are implemented locally.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate training activities across the region, ensuring compliance with national standards.
- Work closely with the Head of School to develop and implement training programmes.
- Collaborate with other stakeholders to ensure the delivery of high-quality training.
Requirements:
Applicants must be currently working within the East Midlands area at consultant level or equivalent, including SAS doctors in the specialty school area. Experience within the specialty at consultant or SAS doctor level is essential. Considerable experience of working with learners or doctors in training in an educational context is required.
You will work with the Head of School to produce doctors who will strive for the highest standards of patient-centred care and commit themselves to a lifetime of professional development.
