About This Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Paediatric Orthopaedics Specialist to join our team at Birmingham Women's and Children's NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop their expertise in paediatric orthopaedics, working with a dedicated team of specialists who share a passion for delivering high-quality care.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a middle-grade doctor with experience in orthopaedics to take on a challenging role in paediatric orthopaedics. The postholder will be responsible for providing specialist care to children with orthopaedic conditions, working closely with our experienced consultants and other healthcare professionals to deliver excellent patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing specialist care to children with orthopaedic conditions
  • Working closely with consultants and other healthcare professionals to deliver excellent patient outcomes
  • Participating in the 1 in 7 non-resident orthopaedic middle grade out-of-hours on call rota at BCH
  • Taking part in the academic activities of the unit and assisting in teaching
  • Producing at least one publication and one national presentation during the appointment
