About the Opportunity:

This exciting role offers a chance to lead an outreach project aimed at improving school readiness by supporting parents, carers, and early years settings.

As an Early Years Support Specialist, you will work closely with early years settings across South Lakes and Eden to initiate parent and carer engagement, assess need, and deliver appropriate group and individual support.

You will have the opportunity to create an outreach support service for families with children in the early years, focusing on the home learning environment, speech and language, self-care, and toileting.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering a programme of work that will make a demonstrable difference in preparing early years children to engage with learning.

With a strong background in early years methods and working with young children, their parents, and families, you will also have experience of leading effective early years projects and measuring outcomes.

Salary: £31,067 - £31,586 (pro rata for part-time hours)
