About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and self-motivated Physiotherapist to join our team in the West Midlands Regional Adult CF Centre. As a Specialist Respiratory Physiotherapist, you will work alongside a team of physiotherapists who are part of the specialist CF multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities

  1. To hold responsibility for own caseload and be responsible for a defined area of the service or a particular patient type, working without direct supervision.
  2. To undertake all aspects of clinical duties as an autonomous practitioner and maintain associated records.
  3. To assist with supervision, education, and assessment of the performance of physiotherapy students.
  4. To assist with the supervision, education, and coordination of physiotherapy assistants, physiotherapy technical instructors, and junior physiotherapists.

Person Specification

Essential

  1. Diploma/degree in Physiotherapy
  2. Registered with Health Professions Council
  3. A levels or equivalent qualification
  4. Good standard of general education including GCSE maths and English grade C and above
  5. Evidence of CPD including recent postgraduate training relevant to clinical speciality

Desirable

  1. Member of the ACPRC/MTS/BTS
  2. Attendance at Clinical Educators course
