We are seeking a highly skilled Qualified Social Worker with extensive experience in UK social work, particularly within the realm of Children's Social Work teams. The successful candidate will join our esteemed team at Entrust Social Care Ltd to support the Children Child Protection & Care Proceedings Team in Wakefield.

Job Summary

This role involves working closely with colleagues to ensure the safety and well-being of children under the guidance of a supportive Team Manager. As a key member of our team, you will receive comprehensive support and challenge from management to deliver high-quality planning for children in Wakefield.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective child protection and assessment strategies.
  • Conduct thorough assessments, risk evaluations, and s47 investigations to inform child protection planning.
  • Collaborate with multi-agency teams to achieve positive outcomes for children and families.

The ideal candidate will possess a DipSW or equivalent qualification, be registered with the HCPC, hold a current DBS, and have a valid driving license. A competitive salary package is offered, including £35,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience.
