We are recruiting an experienced Social Worker to join our Children in Care Team as a Permanence Planning Specialist. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of vulnerable children and young people.
In this position, you will be responsible for leading on permanency planning for children in care proceedings. You will work closely with children, families, and professionals to develop and implement effective plans to secure permanent placements.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in social work, preferably with experience in adoption and permanency planning. A qualification in social work and registration with Social Work England are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement permanency plans for children in care proceedings
- Collaborate with multi-agency teams to achieve desired outcomes
- Maintain accurate records and produce high-quality reports
- Support children and families through the care process
