About This Opportunity
Ashberry Recruitment is currently seeking a skilled Children's Social Services Worker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for matching children with suitable foster carers, providing placement stability, and achieving good outcomes and permanence for children.
Main Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate records and reports of children's progress
- Develop and maintain relationships with foster carers and other stakeholders
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure effective delivery of services
Qualifications and Experience
- DIPSW or equivalent qualification in Social Work
- Registered with Social Work England
- Enhanced and up-to-date DBS certificate
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Flexible approach to work and working hours

Working Location and Details
This role is located in Wakefield, with a salary range of £32,000 - £42,000 per annum, depending on experience.
