About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Practice Nurse and IPC Lead to join our team at Babylon. As a key member of our nursing team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and leading the implementation of new services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the nursing team in the delivery of patient care and services
  • Develop and implement new services and workflows to improve patient outcomes
  • Manage and supervise a team of nursing staff, including Practice Nurses, Nursing Associates, and Healthcare Assistants
  • Conduct appraisals and provide regular feedback and supervision to direct reports
  • Investigate incidents and complaints, and make recommendations for improvement
  • Act as the Infection Prevention and Control lead for the site, completing audits and following up on actions
  • Ensure the nursing services conform to CQC and other statutory requirements
  • Participate in establishing and completing relevant nursing audits
Requirements
  • Registered General Nurse with current NMC registration
  • Practice Nurse qualification or accredited long term condition modules + individual competencies
  • Cervical Smear Taker
  • Able to run and manage QOF workflows and clinics
Desirable
  • Ear irrigation training
  • Non-medical prescriber
  • Previous line management experience
  • Previous IPC experience
