Job Title: German Speaking Technical Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and tech-savvy German speaking Technical Support Specialist to join our team at Language Matters. As a key member of our support team, you will be responsible for providing top-class technical support to our demanding client base, which includes investment bankers, corporate lawyers, and corporate board members.

About the Role:
  • Provide product support and be the main point of contact for German and English speaking clients
  • Troubleshoot issues to resolution and answer clients' questions in a timely manner
  • Manage client projects independently and provide trainings and demonstrations
  • Be responsible for effectively identifying and anticipating clients' needs
About You:

We are looking for a bright and commercially-minded individual with drive and ambition. To be successful in this role, you will need to be fluent in German and English, both written and spoken, and have previous experience in a client services, product support, or project management role. You will also need to have excellent communication and listening skills, as well as the ability to service clients effectively in a face-to-face and online environment.

We offer a competitive salary range of £30,000-£32,000, with a shift allowance that can raise your salary to £34,500-£34,800. You will work on a hybrid scheme, with a few days per month in our central London office and the rest from home.

Requirements:
  • Fluency in German and English, both written and spoken
  • Previous experience in a client services, product support, or project management role
  • Excellent communication and listening skills
  • Ability to service clients effectively in a face-to-face and online environment
  • Strong technical abilities
  • Computer-literate with strong troubleshooting skills
  • An interest in technology is essential
  • A polite, confident, and friendly manner
  • Collaborative team player
