Operational Performance Lead

Are you a seasoned operations consultant looking to take your skills in-house to a rapidly-growing PE-backed firm?

Our client is a leading provider of cold storage and logistics infrastructure, operating across 8 countries with a global workforce of close to 700. Following their acquisition by a PE firm, they are embarking on an ambitious value creation journey, aiming to reduce operational costs across their 36 sites in the UK and Europe.

As Operational Performance Lead, you will focus on improving operational efficiencies, interacting heavily with the business' warehouses. You will need to travel to these sites weekly and often interact closely with the workers across the business. This role will require a hands-on, manual approach to process improvement, designing and refining systems and processes in Excel, and rolling them out manually across the sites.

Requirements:

  • Experience in operational improvement, efficiency, logistics, supply chain, procurement, manufacturing, or warehouse management
  • High competency in Excel and modelling
  • No industry-specific experience required, but a bonus if you have worked in industrials, manufacturing, logistics, or food and beverage
