Foster Care Placement Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Foster Care Placement Specialist to join our central fostering placements team in Bristol. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in helping to place children and young people into excellent foster homes.
The ideal candidate will have excellent IT and organisational skills, be an outstanding communicator, and enjoy working as part of a team. Above all, they will be passionate about making a difference to the lives of children and young people coming into care.
Key Responsibilities- Work collaboratively with the placements team to identify suitable foster placements for children and young people
- Develop and maintain relationships with foster carers to ensure the best possible outcomes for children and young people
- Conduct thorough assessments and matching processes to ensure the most suitable placements
- Provide ongoing support and guidance to foster carers and children and young people
- A competitive annual salary of up to £28,000
- Up to 33 days annual leave per annum inclusive of bank holidays
