Foster Care Placement Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Foster Care Placements Officer to join our central fostering placements team in Bristol. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in helping to place children and young people into excellent foster homes.
The ideal candidate will have excellent IT and organisational skills, be an outstanding communicator, and enjoy working as part of a team. Above all, they will be passionate about making a difference to the lives of children and young people coming into care.
Key Responsibilities- Work closely with the Placements Team Leader to achieve placement targets
- Develop and maintain relationships with foster carers and other stakeholders
- Conduct thorough assessments and matching of children with suitable foster carers
- Provide excellent customer service and support to foster carers and children
- Contribute to the development and implementation of placement strategies
- A competitive annual salary of up to £28,000
