Foster Care Placement Specialist

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Foster Care Placements Officer to join our central fostering placements team in Bristol. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in helping to place children and young people into excellent foster homes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the Placements Team Leader to ensure the smooth placement of children and young people into foster care.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with foster carers, social workers, and other stakeholders to ensure the best possible outcomes for children and young people.
- Utilize excellent IT and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines, ensuring timely and effective placement of children and young people.
- Provide outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse stakeholders, including foster carers, social workers, and children and young people.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure the highest standards of care and placement for children and young people.
