We are seeking an exceptional Proteomics Marketing Specialist to join our team at Illumina. As a key member of our European marketing communication team, you will be responsible for establishing compelling messaging and positioning for Illumina products and services in the proteomics market.



Your primary focus will be on developing market opportunities in the proteomics research and translational research and industry environments. You will assess market dynamics, understand customer requirements, and establish relationships with stakeholders to create a go-to-market strategy for the Europe region.



To succeed in this role, you will have significant experience in marketing from a life sciences background, with a strong understanding of genomic technologies and their applications in the proteomics market. You will also have experience and knowledge of genome-wide association studies and their relation to proteomics in large cohorts.



As a Proteomics Segment Marketing Specialist, you will work closely with the European marketing communication team to create awareness, generate demand, and enable the sales team through guidance, tools, and training. You will be responsible for providing market information and analysis to European directors/managers and Global Product Managers on a regular basis.

Responsibilities




  • Develop market opportunities in proteomics research and translational research and industry environments
  • Assess market dynamics and customer requirements
  • Establish relationships with stakeholders to create a go-to-market strategy
  • Provide market information and analysis to European directors/managers and Global Product Managers
  • Work closely with the European marketing communication team to create awareness and generate demand
  • Enable the sales team through guidance, tools, and training
  • Identify and target potential customers in academia and industry
  • Build and maintain solid relationships with clients, prospective customers, and KOLs


Requirements




  • Significant experience in marketing from a life sciences background
  • Strong understanding of genomic technologies and their applications in the proteomics market
  • Experience and knowledge of genome-wide association studies and their relation to proteomics in large cohorts
  • Proven track record of developing market opportunities and establishing relationships with stakeholders
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
