Technical Product Manager Opportunity

Jagex is seeking a skilled Technical Product Manager to contribute to the success of our next iteration of OSRS content creation.

This exciting role will see you drive the success of Project Zanaris and play a vital part in delivering on our product strategy. You will help us deliver groundbreaking MMO features, allowing players to run and customize their own game worlds, and become the foundation of players creating their own experiences in the game.

  1. Contribute to the long-term vision for Old School RuneScape and help deliver on Jagex's values and mission through its product strategy.
  2. Prioritize projects in the technical product roadmap and coordinate effectively between the engineering, product management teams, and external stakeholders.
  3. Work with business intelligence teams to provide supporting data analysis for new features and incremental improvements, understanding how product changes might impact key metrics and the game's player base.
  4. Work well with internal teams, including developers, engineers, architects, quality assurance, and operations. Ensure requirements are fully understood and that implementation plans match expectations.
  5. Coordinate customer research, beta tests, and management of player feedback.
  6. Define success criteria for testing and product acceptance, monitoring and communicating progress toward KPI targets and business goals.
  7. Work with product development teams to ensure features and updates are implemented with the optimal user experience and in compliance with external platform holders.
  8. A strong technical understanding is required, either having previously worked in a technical role or through technical training.
  9. Demonstrable expertise in integrating data-driven methods into product management and team decisions.
  10. Proven experience in building and sustaining cross-functional relationships.
  11. A player-centric mindset is essential, with a commitment to enhancing the gaming experience based on user feedback/data and an understanding of how to interact with both developers and the community to improve the game.
  12. Experience working with game tooling and server infrastructure is highly desired, but not a pre-requisite.
