We are Academics, a school based in Lewes for children aged 4-16 with specialized support for students with SEMH needs.
As a Criminology Graduate, you will be working closely with our team to provide exceptional education and extra help for children who have come from trauma/neglected backgrounds, challenging behaviour, ADHD, or Autism, and have developed mental health issues due to their needs.
This role is ideal if you have career aspirations to become a Youth Worker, Probation/Prison Officer, or Criminal Psychologist.
The salary for this position is approximately £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, paid in term time only, and includes generous holiday allowance and comprehensive training and development opportunities.
Responsibilities- Assist the class teacher in providing the learning experience of students.
- Take an active role in forward planning with therapists.
- Proactive approach.
- Have an understanding of challenging behaviour.
- Be able to develop strong and positive relationships with children.
