Cognitive Development Specialist

The Academics Ltd team is seeking a dedicated Cognitive Development Specialist to support children with moderate learning difficulties and additional mental health needs. Located in the Lewes area, this role offers a unique opportunity to make a positive impact on young minds.
About the Role:
This position involves assisting the class teacher in providing a tailored learning experience for students with SEMH needs. As a Cognitive Development Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering behaviour and pastoral support while taking an active role in forward planning with the teaching staff. This includes helping children who have come from trauma or neglected backgrounds, challenging behaviour, ADHD, or Autism, and those who require additional support with improving their social, emotional, and mental well-being.
