About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Learning and Development Coach to join our team at SWRAC. In this role, you will be working closely with learners, centre staff, and local employers to provide support and guidance in their work placements.

Responsibilities

  • Establish rapport and support needs with learners in a classroom setting.
  • Attend work placement interviews and assist learners with preparation.
  • Engage with employers to establish learner work placement roles and responsibilities.
  • Identify support requirements and conduct work placement Health and Safety checks as needed.
  • Support learners with travel training and purchase of necessary work attire.
  • Plan pre-work placement visits with learners and employers.
  • Encourage learners to maintain good personal hygiene and presentation standards.
  • Liaise with parents, carers, and external agencies to foster a supportive environment.
  • Become familiar with Access To Work hours planners and support needs.

Requirements

  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work under pressure.
  • High attention to detail and strong time management skills.
  • Ability to follow guidelines and procedures.
