Catchment Officer

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our team as a Catchment Officer. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading our work in two catchments across the south east of England.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and chair local Catchment Partnerships to develop a deep understanding of river health and stakeholder needs.
- Develop and implement programs of data and evidence gathering to inform catchment plans and solutions.
- Collaborate with partners to design and deliver mitigation projects that promote river health and provide multiple benefits.
- Share technical expertise and knowledge across the organization to support the development of effective catchment management strategies.
We are looking for a natural leader and good communicator with relevant technical knowledge and a passion for river conservation. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of land management, aquatic biodiversity, habitat enhancement, and water quality.
The successful candidate will be able to work effectively in a team environment, build strong relationships with stakeholders, and communicate complex technical information to non-technical audiences.
