We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our team as a Catchment Officer. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading our work in two catchments across the south east of England.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement catchment plans to improve river health and biodiversity
- Work with local stakeholders to identify and address environmental issues
- Collaborate with partners to design and deliver projects that promote sustainable land management and water quality
- Provide technical expertise and support to our team and partners
We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in environmental science or a related field, and experience in catchment management, conservation, or a related field. You should have excellent communication and project management skills, and be able to work effectively in a team environment.
Knowledge of land management, wetland design, aquatic biodiversity, habitat enhancement, nature-based solutions, biodiversity net gain, natural flood management, fisheries science, water resources, or water quality is highly desirable.
