Join Our Team as a Catchment Officer

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Catchment Officer to lead our work in two catchments across the south east of England. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing programs to improve river health and biodiversity.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and chair local Catchment Partnerships to develop and implement catchment plans
  • Conduct data and evidence gathering to understand issues impacting river health
  • Work with partners to design and implement solutions and mitigation projects
  • Share technical expertise with the team and contribute to the development of catchment plans
Requirements:
  • Scientific and/or technical expertise in land management, wetland design, aquatic biodiversity, or related fields
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders and partners
  • Passion for improving river health and biodiversity
