We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our team as a Catchment Officer. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading our work in two catchments across the south east of England.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement catchment plans to improve river health and biodiversity
- Work with local stakeholders to identify and address environmental issues
- Lead and chair local Catchment Partnerships to drive collaborative action
- Conduct data and evidence gathering to inform catchment management decisions
- Collaborate with partners to develop and deliver projects that benefit river health
We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in environmental science, conservation, or a related field. You will have a proven track record of working with stakeholders to achieve environmental goals and a passion for improving river health.
You will be a natural leader with excellent communication and project management skills. You will be able to work independently and as part of a team, and have a strong understanding of the social, economic, and environmental factors that impact river health.
