
Resident Support Specialist

This role involves working as part of a dedicated care team to deliver high-quality care and support to residents in Fingringhoe. As a Resident Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the physical and emotional needs of our residents are met.
Responsibilities- Day-to-Day Operations: Assist in coordinating and managing day-to-day shift responsibilities to guarantee seamless resident care.
- Communication with Healthcare Professionals: Establish effective communication with GPs and District Nurses to ensure residents receive appropriate care and attention.
- Staff Support and Guidance: Provide guidance and support to staff members with all aspects of personal care, including feeding residents.
- Regular Resident Checks: Conduct regular checks on residents to guarantee their wellbeing and address any concerns promptly.
- NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent qualification.
- A full driving license and access to a vehicle.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional night shifts.
The Resident Support Specialist can expect a competitive hourly rate of £13.05, with additional benefits including paid overtime, double time for bank holidays, and a monthly petrol allowance.
Total estimated annual salary: approximately £27,416 - £31,499 depending on hours worked.
