Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated Care and Support Specialist to join our team at Anchor Hanover Group. As a key member of our team, you will provide person-centred care and support to assist residents in maintaining their independence.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a Personal Care Assistant to work with older adults, providing personal care, meal times, and activities, while also offering emotional support when needed.

Responsibilities

Your primary responsibility will be to provide high-quality care and support to our residents, ensuring they receive the best possible experience. This includes:

  • Providing personal care, including bathing, dressing, and toileting
  • Assisting with meal times, including serving food and drinks
  • Engaging residents in activities that promote social interaction and stimulation
  • Offering emotional support and a listening ear when needed

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A passion for working with older adults
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Basic knowledge of care principles and practices

What We Offer

In return for your hard work and dedication, we offer a competitive salary of £18,000 - £20,000 per annum, depending on experience. You will also receive comprehensive training and development opportunities to help you grow in your career. Please note that all applicants must already hold the legal right to work in the UK.
