About the Role:

As our Cluster Director of Sales, you will be the face of our hotels, driving revenue and market share across our four hotels. Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Promoting & Selling: Market our hotels and the wider regional group to local clients, focusing on corporate customers, meetings, groups, and relevant agents.
  • New Business: Seek out new revenue opportunities and develop existing accounts to boost market share.
  • Strategic Approach: Employ an organized, planned, and strategic approach to account management, revenue-generating activities, customer engagement, and brand activity.
  • Metrics & KPIs: Your success will be measured through key sales metrics and KPIs, including monthly revenue and opportunity reporting using Salesforce CRM.
  • Travel: You will need to commute between our four hotels and attend client meetings, so access to your own transport is a must.
  • Teamwork: You will work closely with hotel General Managers and the cluster commercial teams on exciting events, seasonal promotions, and support in driving F&B sales.

About You:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Aberdeen Market Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the hospitality, travel, or events sector in Aberdeen.
  • Commercial Savvy: Excellent commercial understanding with the ability to drive new business and grow market share.
  • Proactive Attitude: A self-starter who can independently drive results.
  • Sales Expertise: Strong grasp of sales processes, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Communication Skills: Outstanding communication skills to engage with clients and team members.
  • Hospitality Experience: Preferred but not essential. We are looking for passion and drive above all.
