Are you ready to take your sales career to the next level? At Cairn Group, we're on a mission to drive revenue and market share across our four hotels. As our Cluster Director of Sales, you'll be the face of our hotels, building relationships and driving sales.

About the Role:

You'll be responsible for:

  • Promoting and Selling: Market our hotels and the wider regional group to local clients, focusing on corporate customers, meetings, groups, and relevant agents.
  • New Business: Seek out new revenue opportunities and develop existing accounts to boost market share.
  • Strategic Approach: Employ an organized, planned, and strategic approach to account management, revenue-generating activities, customer engagement, and brand activity.
  • Metrics and KPIs: Your success will be measured through key sales metrics and KPIs, including monthly revenue and opportunity reporting using Salesforce CRM.
  • Travel: You'll need to commute between our four hotels and attend client meetings, so access to your own transport is a must.
  • Teamwork: You'll work closely with hotel General Managers and the cluster commercial teams on exciting events, seasonal promotions, and support in driving F&B sales.

About You:

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Aberdeen Market Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the hospitality, travel, or events sector in Aberdeen.
  • Commercial Savvy: Excellent commercial understanding with the ability to drive new business and grow market share.
  • Proactive Attitude: A self-starter who can independently drive results.
  • Sales Expertise: Strong grasp of sales processes, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Communication Skills: Outstanding communication skills to engage with clients and team members.
  • Hospitality Experience: Preferred but not essential. We're looking for passion and drive above all.
