Key Responsibilities

As a Substance Misuse Recovery Worker, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify client needs
  • Developing and implementing individualized care plans to promote recovery and well-being
  • Providing harm reduction advice on needle and syringe use, overdose prevention, and blood-borne virus intervention
  • Facilitating access to education, employment services, health services, and recovery support activities
