About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Registered Mental Health Nurse to join our multidisciplinary team at Birchwood, Oldham. The service offers a 16-bed rehabilitation program providing support to individuals from the Oldham and surrounding region.

As a Mental Health Nurse Specialist, you will work collaboratively with community mental and physical health services to ensure individuals have the best chance of success. You will be fully engaged in activities such as clinical audits, acting as a named nurse, participating in MDT reviews, and within the CPA process.

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a candidate who understands the importance of recovery and is passionate about seeing people achieve their best. As a leader, you will be able to adapt to situations in a calm and professional manner.

With a focus on daily living skills and psycho-social interventions, you will aim to reintroduce and maintain these skills alongside equipping individuals to live more independently in the community with confidence.

Your Benefits

In addition to a competitive salary of £30,000 - £40,000 per annum, you will receive 33 days' paid holiday a year, increasing with each year of service up to 37 days. Plus, the option to buy additional holidays and spread the cost.
