About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Mental Health Nurse to join our multidisciplinary team at All Saints Hospital in Oldham.

This role is focused on providing high-quality, effective and compassionate nursing care to service users with complex communication needs.

As a qualified RMN, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating care while promoting positive teamwork and collaboration among colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert nursing care to service users with deaf or hard of hearing needs
  • Develop and implement personalized care plans that cater to individual needs
  • Mentor and support junior staff members to enhance their skills and knowledge
  • Conduct regular assessments and record accurate notes of service user changes

Requirements:

  • A relevant nursing qualification (RMN)
  • British Sign Language qualification desirable but not essential
  • NMC registration
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Able to work flexibly and adapt to changing circumstances
  • A commitment to delivering high-quality care and values-based practice
