Mental Health Practitioner Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated mental health professional to join our teams at Pennine Care NHS Foundation Trust, working across the East of Manchester region.
The successful candidate will work with clients who have suspected psychosis or are presenting with a psychotic illness, undertaking formulation, assessments including risk and specialist assessments such as SCI-Panns and CAARMS.
This role is within Early Intervention Teams, all achieving 'top performing' at the National Clinical Audit of Psychosis (NCAP). We have secured additional investment to expand the psychological therapies service to people aged 14-35, with an at-risk mental state (ARMS).
Main Responsibilities:- Assess, support, and monitor service users experiencing 1st episode psychosis and those suspected of developing psychosis.
- Work in community settings, liaising and co-working with statutory and non-statutory services, carers, and families of service users.
This may include seeing service users, families, and carers in their homes, clinics, or other environments such as hostels, supported living, prisons, residential, and nursing homes.
About Us:Pennine Care NHS Foundation Trust works with people aged 14-65 experiencing their 1st episode of psychosis or at risk of developing a psychosis.
Person Specification:- Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN/Diploma/Degree), Occupational Therapist, or Social Work registration.
- Qualification to post-graduate level or equivalent work experience relevant to the role.
- Experience giving clinical supervision.
- Experience care coordinating complex packages of care.
- Experience conducting high-quality risk assessments and implementing risk management plans.
- Experience in early intervention for psychosis, e.g., specialist placement, previous employment in the early intervention service, participation in a research trial, or personal experience.
- Experience managing Community Treatment Orders.
- Knowledge of the ethos and philosophy of early interventions to support clinical practice.
- High level of knowledge around Early Intervention for Psychosis.
- High level of knowledge about the evidence base and guidance for interventions for those with psychosis and an At-Risk Mental State.
Estimated Salary: £42,000 - £52,000 per annum
