Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant to join our team in a specialist therapeutic school. The successful candidate will work with pupils who have SEMH/ASD needs, providing individualized support and guidance to help them achieve their full potential.

Responsibilities:

  • Supporting pupils with SEMH/ASD needs in various educational settings
  • Developing and implementing personalized learning plans in collaboration with teaching staff
  • Building strong relationships with pupils and promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Providing individualized attention, reassurance, and help with living and learning tasks as required

Qualifications and Experience:

You will have a minimum of 1 year's experience working with children and young people with SEMH/ASD needs. A strong understanding of child development, behavior management, and communication strategies is essential.

Compensation:

The salary for this role is £19,134 per annum, plus benefits including lunch provided daily, free car parking, and access to the Health Assured Employee Assistance Programme.
