Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Food Regulatory Lead to join our team at Amazon. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the regulatory compliance of our private label food products across the EMEA region.

You will work closely with our manufacturing partners to ensure that products have the correct regulatory and technical documentation. Additionally, you will attend pre-production and first production runs to ensure that products and processes meet the defined specifications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure product selection meets EU regulatory requirements
  • Work with wider team to ensure product selection is appropriate and will meet or exceed customer expectations
  • Work with manufacturing partners to ensure products have the correct regulatory and technical documentation
  • Attend pre-production/first production runs ensuring product and process match that defined in the specification
  • Keep abreast of new and upcoming EU regulation and emerging issues in food safety and quality
  • Support the wider food safety team by contributing to shared process and policy development
  • Continuously identify and communicate improvement opportunities
  • Leverage technology to manage compliance processes

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and applications at an advanced level
  • Experience in compliance, audit or risk management
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification
  • Experience leveraging technology and implementing lean principles/Six Sigma methodologies to drive process improvements or equivalent
  • Master's degree or equivalent
