Regulatory Affairs Professional for Global Food Safety

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Regulatory Affairs Manager to oversee regulatory strategy for our organisation in the UK and EU markets. As part of our European Quality Management team, you will provide leadership and guidance to the business on regulatory matters related to food, feed, and personal care activity.
You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, developing and maintaining regulatory strategies, and monitoring changes in legislations and regulatory requirements. Your expertise will also include managing multiple deadlines and projects, implementing action plans in response to regulatory changes, and providing high-quality regulatory advice to internal stakeholders.
In addition, you will participate in the management of crisis and incidents as part of our quality management team, propose system development projects to enhance transparency on regulatory matters, and conduct raw material horizon scanning to inform product categories.
Your skills and qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need to have strong regulatory experience with a breadth of food products, preferably in the pharmaceutical ingredient and/or chemical distribution industry. A degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related field is essential, along with 5-10 years of experience in regulatory affairs. You should also possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, be highly organised, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively.
